ā€œGhost Storiesā€ EP drops September 5

YOU HEARD IT HERE, FOLKS! IT’S FINALLY HAPPENING! Our six-track debut EP ā€œGhost Storiesā€ releases as an Epic Games exclusive on Friday, September 5! Here’s a quote from our drummer Jonathon that talks about how much this album means to us:

ā€œAbout 15 years after Tyler, Tera, and I first jammed in my parents' basement, we are finally going to put out a full release!

ā€˜Ghost Stories’ gets it's name from the songs themselves: They are old, dead songs given new life by this band. They were passed over by old bands, never got off the ground, or were only ever played a handful of times in their previous incarnation. Not only that but Steve has joined the mix, bringing a dead song of his own.

One of the songs actually originated around 2010 in my parents' basement, and it's surreal to hear the final product all these years later. We're all very proud of this effort and look forward to seeing some peeps out to CELEBRATE ON SEPTEMBER 6TH with an album release show at Cactus Club in Milwaukee.

Whether you come to the show or give the EP a stream, we seriously appreciate the support. Looking forward to moving on to new material soon!ā€

Btw you didn’t hear this from us, but one of the new songs might be premiering on a certain local radio station the day before the album drops… 🤐

We’re chilling out a bit after the album release show and throughout fall/winter to focus on writing new material—something we’ve been looking forward to for ages now! Still down to clown though. Hit us up at [email protected] if you want to arrange something xoxo.

What We’ve Been Up To

Tera is the real MVP and basically mixed the whole album—including touching up P.S. and Empire of Rust—in just over a month. She’s finally coming out of her mixing cage and she’s been doing just fine (gotta gotta be down because she wants it all). Please grant her grace as she re-acclimates to modern society.

Tera went feral during the mixing process

We played Falcon Hall for the first time a few weeks back! We had previously only played the Falcon Nest—the smaller room behind the Hall—so this was definitely a step up in regards to size, sound quality, etc. However, the venue is huge so even a good turn-out looks empty within the vastness of the space lmao. Regardless, the other bands on the bill kicked ass, shouts out to our new Rockford friends Super Brick and Fish-Head and The Bones for the invite! Can’t wait to hit their neck of the woods sooner rather than later.

PR Whiz Jonathon got us a write-up in Milwaukee Record and it’s one of our favorite song reviews ever. Shouts out to Matt Wild for giving Empire of Rust a spin and mention!

SoSus x Gruber Law collab when?

Terrible Meme of the Day

Tyler asked Tera how to improvise properly and this is basically how it went
